Gracious BE...
this sweet ornament pillow makes me HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY!
If you are a Quilter in any way...
then this Fabulous little project...is just for YOU!
I used the same Ornament Process Technique to make this Ornament Pillow
as I have in the past with my "flat styled" Christmas Ornaments...
why fix something that isn't Broken?
I digress!
I used a layer of Warm and White 100% Cotton batting underneath the Tan Cotton/Linen Blend fabric...
and then I loaded it onto my frame and then into the machine.
I stitched this Super Cute Snowflake Applique design on to the front of the little pillow...
and then I cut a piece of the same Cotton Linen Blend and layered it together with another piece of batting...
the same size as the front stitched piece is....
By layering a piece of cotton batting with the back fabric helps give the pillow ornament a more firm body...
even before i stuff it with fiber fill.
I added a cute green and red metallic bow and a pretty green jingle bell to the top...
and a simple metallic braided ribbon for the hanger too!
I LOVE it bunches....
how about YOU?
Kathleen
