Hope you will be scheduling some classes in Anderson, SC. I enjoyed the one class so much and actually learned some great techniques. Also, could you send me the name and number of Fannie, the one with the long arm (ha!). I have a quilt in need of quilting. Also, can you give me idea of how expensive a full size quilt is--ball park figure? THANKS.

I had a fantastic private lesson today! I have wanted to learn the techniques for machine applique for a while and boy did I have a busy day. I learned innies and outies and curves, too. The techniques that Kathleen gave, made it so easy. Now I have to practice so I can be ready for the next class. Kathleen is a terrific teacher and having her for a one on one lesson was a wonderful treat. I can't wait to do it again.

You have a wonderful blog. I miss your classes. Yesterday I was in Augusta and drove by the new Quilt shop to check it out and found it closed on Monday's. I will be watching your space to see what classes are coming up. Maybe I will find something that looks interesting and take the class.

Hi, Kathleen! I'm so glad to see you teaching in my area again. I see you've scheduled some fall projects already, so I thought I'd put in my request for a holiday class before it was too late! A few years ago you had a gingerbread man applique class in Aiken that I was not able to take. I'd love to see that show up on your schedule for Quilt Shop on the Corner! I've missed taking your classes since you moved to Anderson.

My Braun freestyle iron with textile protector is behaving badly. I need a new iron, but Braun is no longer producing irons. I need one that can iron faux suede, silk, cotton, etc. without leaving an impression, outline or hole marks. I loved that it was so easy to press/manhandle suede handles, pocketbooks, silk brocade eyeglass cases and people would never know. Do you have a recommendation?
