MY PRETTY SINGER FEATHERWEIGHT! |

Isn't she a beauty? I bought this wonderful little singer featherweight about 5 years ago, but I wish I could tell everyone that it belonged to my grandmother and she sewed on it regularly. But...NOT SO MUCH! If either one of my grandmothers sewed on a Singer Featherweight it is unknown by me. So, instead of telling people about the wonderful family link of my Singer Featherweight, I just say I got her on E-bay from a nice lady in NJ. My husband, being the "attention to the detail" kind of guy that he is, buffed and shined this little gem to it's original grandeur. If you click on the picture to enlarge it, you will see how great the detail is of the gold work on the bed of the machine. She sews like a dream, and weighs only 11 pounds. I got the black case and the tray for the interior of the case also...all of it was in great shape, including the handle on the case. Do you have one of these little beauties?
Once again, not a question for my sisters, who no doubt have no idea what a Singer Featherweight is! Kathleen
